Steal Her Style - Amy Adams in American Hustle

She is one of Hollywood's "IT" girls right now, and after snatching up a Golden Globe (and an Academy Award nomination) for her performance in American Hustle, all eyes are on Amy Adams.  We saw the flick, loved it and think Adams stole the show with her plunging necklines and sexy fake accent.  So we decided to go back to the pivotal point in the movie where Adams character, Sydney Prosser meets Christian Bale's character, Irving Rosenfeld.  Adams is shown dancing around in a fur coat, which she strips off to reveal a skimpy crocheted white swimsuit, which we fell in love with!

If you loved it too, then you'll love these Lingerie Diva items which can be used to Steal Amy's American Hustle style!

2014 Golden Globe Underwear Guesses

We love award season at Lingerie Diva, because it gives us a chance to treat celebrities like those little paper dress up dolls we had as a child.  When we see those beautiful gowns, our mind immediately wonders to what they're wearing underneath.  Chances are most of them are wearing Spanx and double sided tape to keep everything in place, but here is a look at some of our favorite dresses from last night's Golden Globes, and what we imagine the celebs wearing underneath.

Sofia Vergara was possibly our favorite of the night in this simple and stunning Zac Posen gown.  But let's not kid ourselves, that bombshell has some curves that are hard to keep controlled.  We imagine her in a teal corset to match her jewelry and to keep the "ladies" in place.

No frills for Kristin Chenoweth this year.  She kept herself covered from head to toe in a beautiful blue Dana Brunetti number.  We envision her keeping a simplistic approach to her underwear too with a nude chemise.

With a deep plunging sweetheart top on her sparkly Zuhair Murad dress, we imagine Kate Beckinsale having a hard time finding a bra that worked.  So we picture this glamorous gal going commando on top, and sporting some more bling on her bottom.

Everyone knows that Taylor Swift loves the color red, so we were surprised to see her without her signature color on the red carpet.  We're betting that Taylor wore her red underneath this year and went with a simple red corset.  It would have been perfect underneath her strapless Carolina Herrera gown.

Cate Blanchett's Armani Prive dress had so much detail we got lost in it, but we absolutely loved it as well.  With sheer parts of the dress and a nude underlay, we envision Cate carrying on with a simple nude set underneath.

Sheik and sophisticated!  Reese Witherspoon blew us away in this Calvin Klein dress.  This body hugging number left no room for lace or bows underneath.  That's why we imagine Reese in something simple like this bustier set.

Zooey Deschanel went for a nice neutral color from head to toe in Oscar De La Renta, and matching accessories, even her spiky heels.  While the "New Girl" star normally wears anything but traditional items, we imagine her keeping it soft and simple underneath in a white cami set.

Amy Poheler's Stella McCartney gown was anything but basic.  With a peek a boo hole on her stomach, and one shouldered support system, we imagine her only able to wear a set of pasties and panties underneath.  And since she was one of the big stars of the night, as a host, why not a stars underneath it all?

Whites For Winter

Sometimes simplicity is key when it comes to your lingerie, and what's more soft and simple than pure, basic white?  Even though it's the middle of winter, looking hot in white never goes out of season. Glamour magazine selected white as winter's hottest color, suggestion that the beautiful basic color isn't just for brides anymore.  Below are a few of our favorite winter white looks!
